Another Opportunity? [05 Feb 2010|01:26pm]

I sincerely hope this is an acceptable post for this community. I will place the text behind a cut, just in case ...

First, let me mention that we are not a competitor of Mary Kay (or Avon, or Arbonne), because we do not sell the same product. However, for existing network-marketers / direct sellers of cosmetics, this may be a fantastic opportunity for you to piggyback off your current client base to generate further income for yourself!

SALE!!! [10 Jul 2006|10:52am]

Hello everyone! I used to be a Mary Kay consultant, but I’ve gotten out of it and I still have a small inventory that I’d like to get rid of. All prices include shipping in the U.S. If you’d like delivery confirmation, please add $0.60. I accept both CC and non-CC PayPal, and I have 100% positive feedback on eBay under GreenPony510. Feel free to make me an offer or haggle. Any reasonable offer won’t be turned down, since I REALLY need the money! I’m also open to trading for MAC products if any of you are interested in doing it that way. Thanks a bunch!

Hi Everyone! I just became a MK consultant today! My name is Melissa and I am 19 yrs old. I am so excited to finally have something that interests me and that I can enjoy doing. I just wanted to stop on in and see if I can make some friends and maybe get some advice too. I should be getting my starter kit soon maybe saturday or monday. I am so anxious for it to come in, lol! I hope to get to know some people that have been doing this a while!! BTW I am a consultant in Clute, Tx so if there is anyone from around here I would love to meet you seeing as I am pretty new around here and don't know to many people.

I have a question regarding the personal website. I just joined a couple of days ago, and I was wondering if someone places an order through my website, can they get their purchases shipped to them? Thanks!

Hello [06 Oct 2005|11:11am]

Hi everyone. I'm Lauren, 22, from Illinois. I'm stongly considering becoming a consultant and my sales director (who was my Mary Kay consultant first) says I'd be really good at it. However, I'm a bit concerned about the money you have to put down for product. I'm newly married and in school, so the main reason I'm considering this is to bring in some extra money for my husband and I, but if I have to buy all this product first, I'm not even sure I can get that much together, much less sell it all. Was anyone in the same position when they first started?

How do you organize your samples & show products? [10 Aug 2005|08:51pm]

Howdy everyone!

I am cross posting this question on all the mary kay communities I am part of.

How do you organize your samples and show products?

I know they have those "binders" that you can put samples in...

But I am looking for something a bit cheaper, and more creative.

How do you store/organize your samples & products you use for shows/classes/makeovers?

Hello from a newbie Consultant (crossposted) [26 Jul 2005|10:34pm]

Hello everyone, I just joined Mary Kay a few weeks ago. I absolutely love the Miracle Set, and it has been the ONLY thing to stop my breakouts permanently.

I live in Queens, NYC but I was recruited in NJ (my meetings are in Chantham). The commute is kind of strange, but I really love the people so far.

If anyone else in this community is a Mary Kay member in NYC, please drop me a line or comment so I can say hello and get a few tips for talking to people on the subways!

Potential New Consultant [05 Apr 2005|06:51am]

divaangel629
Good Morning Ladies!

I just wanted to take a few moments to introduce myself. I just had my first skin care class in a bridal series with a consultant I was introduced to at a bridal expo. She says that I would be really great at this and she believes that it's meant to be!

My name is Rachel, I'm 24 years old from Woonsocket RI. I currently work in the telecomm industry as an audio conference operator. My schedule is fairly flexible and with my wedding coming up in about a year... extra money would be really helpful!

I have no doubt I can sell the product. I fell in love with it on Sunday (when I spent $320! to by the whole shebang!)

My questions are about the startup costs.

I know that the starter kit is only $100. What else do you need to buy? Really though, I know they are going to show me a ton of tools that will help me and whatnot, but what do you really need to spend money on? A girl I know spent about $1400. She told her fiance that she had to spend that much... I don't have direct accesss to talk to her... but I don't have $1400 to spend on product and whatnot.

Can you order product after it's ordered from you, until you make enough money to carry stock?

Thanks for your insight and any advice you can offer!

HELP! Bronze Lip Gloss [02 Sep 2004|11:00am]

my_mary_kay
First of all, hello! I'm new to this community... just starting my Mary Kay business.

I did a "pop by" the other day... and these ladies ALL wanted the limited edition Bronze gloss. Me, being new and not REALIZING this product was already out of stock, took their orders for the product.

My director had ONE gloss... but I need two more! Can anyone please help me with this? I can pay for them or trade for something else, I'm just feeling pretty stuck here. I'm a brand new consultant and these were first time customers, so I'd hate to get a bad rap.

Thanks to anyone who responds with some help on this!
